This policy explains how BragIntel Pty Ltd (“BragIntel”, “we”, “us”), the operator of Fanverse, Bragger Sports and Bragger Golf, collects, holds, uses and discloses personal information, and how you can access or correct it or make a complaint. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
When a customer enters a competition, signs up at a venue, or contacts us, we may collect their name, email address, phone number, date of birth (for age-eligibility checks), postcode, the venue they entered from, and their marketing preferences. This is collected directly from them through our entry forms.
We collect these details to operate competitions, confirm eligibility, contact winners, manage and deliver prizes, and — only where the customer has agreed — send marketing communications. We do not collect more than we need for these purposes, and we do not sell personal information to anyone.
Identifiable customer details (name, contact details, competition activity and visit information) are only shared with the specific venue named on that customer’s entry form, and only if they ticked the box agreeing to that sharing at the time they entered.
Separately, if a customer ticked the box to receive marketing from that venue, the venue may also use their details to send them their own offers and updates, in addition to (not instead of) the entry-sharing consent above.
Sponsors of a competition receive aggregate or de-identified results only — for example, total entry numbers or a breakdown by platform — never a customer’s name, email, phone number or other identifying details, unless a specific sponsor-run promotion has its own separate, clearly-named consent checkbox at the time of entry.
We use trusted technology and communication providers (cloud hosting and database infrastructure, and email or SMS delivery services) to securely operate the platform and, where consented, to send communications. These providers only access the personal information needed to perform their service for us.
Marketing permissions are always optional and separate from competition entry. Every marketing message identifies the sender and includes a working way to unsubscribe or opt out at any time.
We keep personal information for as long as it’s needed for the purposes above, and for as long as required by law, after which it is securely deleted or de-identified.
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure, including access controls and encryption in transit.
Customers can ask us for access to the personal information we hold about them, or ask us to correct it, at any time — contact us using the details below. Complaints not resolved with us can be raised with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
